BRS Hospital was started in July 1992, by Dr.B.R.SANTHANAKRISHNAN, former Professor of Pediatrics, Director and Superintendent of Institute of Child Health. He was well know among the medical profession by virtue of his academic as well as community work. He had published several scientific articles in National and International Journals.
BRS Hospital a 40 bedded Multispecialty Hospital with Core Specialities in Pediatrics, General Surgery, General Medicine & Obstetrics & Gynaecology; Plastic Surgery, ENT Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology and Vascular Surgery.
The Hospital has a well equipped Intensive Care Unit which is managed by Senior Intensivists and Anaesthetists. The Operation Theatres are well maintained with state of the art equipment (High End Monitoring system & C- Arm facility).
The Hospital is certified by NABH (Entry Level) and has complied with all the standards.

Dr.B.S.Gajalakshmi is an eminent Prof. of Physiology, retired from the Madras Medical College with more than 30 years of experience in the medical field. She has been the past President of Indian Association of Biomedical Scientist and Past President of Altrusa International and Indian Science Congress.

Dr.Ramesh is a Pediatrician & Neonatalogist. He is best described as a compassionate humanitarian and he believes that for the correct treatment of a patient , thorough diagnosis is a first step and there are no shortcut solutions to any problems. He also believes in a Multi disciplinary integrated approach which enables to provide the best service to our patients.
